In 2004, Monica published a ballet book entitled, The Irish Ballerina which chronicled her experiences in Russia from the age of 14 to 24. This autobiography details her experiences growing up, learning ballet and Russian!Ballet Through The Lens was co-published with Alan Foley, Director of Cork City Ballet in 2007 and is a wonderful repository of ballet pictures full of history and stories.
The Magic of Ballet is a DVD about ballet in Ireland produced by Monica Loughman and Alan Foley. It is an introduction to Ballet in Ireland. If you have the ambition and talent there are opportunities in Ireland for you to develop your skills.

Monica Loughman is a top Irish prima ballerina and one of the brightest stars on the ballet stage. At the age of 14, she left Ireland for Perm in Russia, where she became the first Westerner to dance for the prestigious Perm State Theatre.
