In 2006, having returned to Ireland from years as a professional Ballerina in Russia, Monica established her first Ballet School in Dublin, which became The Academy Of Russian Ballet in 2007.

The Academy now implements a comprehensive program from primary school age students to professional level dancers.  The program includes Russian Ballet exams for all levels and is an international centre of excellence for Ballet education.  The full time Academy of Russian Ballet and summer schools attract ballet students from all over the world who want to work with Monica Loughman and be part of the Company.

The Academy teaches ballet to the highest standards and its teachers are all trained by Monica in the unique style of repertoire and performance driven training.  Monica has a teaching diploma and her ten years of of training and performing around the world with Perm State Russian Ballet company makes her one of Ireland’s most qualified ballet teachers able to train students to professional standards.
